Hi Chris,
It is clear to me with the passage of measure 67 and irresponsible government spending, that we are paving the way to bankrupt our State. I don’t own a business but my lively hood depends on the success of business. If I was a public employee, I would be concerned about my pension as income producing entities continue leaving the state. I am a law abiding citizen, a contributor to the community, a supporter of the constitution, and I don’t buy things I can’t afford. Unfortunately, I don’t see that mentality at any level of government. As a Democrat I am disgusted with the low road my representation in Congress has taken. The Republican party is not much better. I look forward to the November election and not a change in leadership, but just SOME leadership. I’ll eagerly watch your candidacy and one thing I guarantee you, even if I stay a Democrat, I’ll never vote for another Democrat

Chris I thus far am pulling for you. I think one of the most important things we need in Oregon, besides jobs, is a lower tax structure for both individuals and business. Together with property taxes, our state income tax creates a burden on lots of folks including seniors like my wife and I…. I would not be opposed to a sales tax if income taxes were eliminated and property taxes lowered.. Thanks. -Gary
